
ECCOFORT has supported the development and implementation of a new cross-border tourist route on the history of the Order of St John in the Oder-Warthe region at various levels. The route was developed as part of a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund and established at 18 locations on both sides of the border. The lead partner was the municipality of Słońsk.
The main project results include the revitalisation of the ruins of the former castle of the Order of St John in Słońsk (formerly Sonnenburg), a brand concept, the new cross-border circular trail with 18 stations, an image and documentary film, an interactive permanent exhibition with inclusive elements as well as various marketing tools and information materials in several languages.



The project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Cooperation Programme for Cross-border Cooperation (INTERREG VA BB-PL 2014-2020). The lead partner was the municipality of Słońsk.
